Just Launched: Program Association with Assessments & More

We’re pleased to announce the upcoming release of several exciting enhancement to MTMPath.

Program Selection in the Assessment section

When you log in to MTMPath, you’ll see a new option when you go to the assessments section within a patient’s chart. This new option requires the selection of a program (known to some as an eligibility) before you can complete a given assessment for a patient.

This enhancement will enable us to better track intent of an assessment, as we improve support for multiple concurrent programs. Additionally, having a direct association of an assessment with a program will enable us to provide more accurate reporting and moves us closer to our goal of providing dashboards for all program types.

When performing an assessment for a patient, merely ensure that the correct program is selected at the top of the page, directly below the ‘Type of Assessment’, which we added a few weeks ago. We’re using logic to auto-select the program whenever we feel confident in the selection, such as when a patient is only enrolled in one active program.


Automatic Program Opt-Out

From now on, when you are using MTMPath to document patient contact from the contact info section within a patient’s chart, setting the call outcome to “Opt-Out” will actually opt the patient out of the program.

Many of our users were performing double work, by first selecting opt-out as a call outcome, and then manually opting the user out from the programs component in the basic info section.

Therefore, if you use the contact info section in MTMPath to record your interactions with patients, you will no longer need to manually opt the patient out of a program after recording the call outcome. This is one less step your users will need to do.

Please note: if you opt a patient out of a program via the contact info section, you’ll need to refresh the patient chart page before you will see the participation status change in the basic info section.
